About Me
I’m Jack Vogelgesang, a Machine Learning Engineer with a background in physics and computational science. My formal education includes a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Applied Physics, specializing in Computational Physics and AI/ML. I’ve worked on projects ranging from mechanical systems to AI-driven satellite control at Orbital Services Corporation.
This site serves as a personal log for my research and studies in machine learning, physics, math, and more. I focus on applying AI techniques to solve problems in physics and engineering, but I’m always branching out into new areas. Right now, I’m also diving into economics and neuroscience, trying to bridge ideas across disciplines.
This is mostly an archive of my own learning, a way to keep track of what I’ve worked on.
