I’m Jack Vogelgesang, an engineer with a background in physics, engineering, simulation, and machine learning.
This site is a personal log of things I’m learning, building, and thinking about. Lately, I have been feeling that my fundamentals in subjects that interest me have been eroding and so I am going to be writing posts that start from the very beginning in each of the section topics and go as far as my curiosity can take me. Through this I look to not only rebuild the bedrock of my knowledge but get better at writing about technical topics and expressing through my own words my understanding of a subject.
